Getting serious about fun

For the tech-savvy youth of today, having a dedicated computer lab in their college campus is indeed a happy occasion.
And we found the students of Hislop College in high spirits as they gathered for the inauguration of their computer section. As many got ready for a play to be staged later in the day, Principal Dipti Christian looked happy and said, "It is good to see youngsters getting involved in many activities apart from studies.Because, today it���s not enough if you do well only in studies.
Doing well in extra curricular activities too pays rich dividends.��� The do saw Commissioner of Police Praveen Dixit make his presence felt. Against the backdrop of terror attacks, the CP urged the students to learn about disaster management. "We have started to give training to the citizens so they too are equipped to deal with an emergency," he said.
Terror Concern
It���s not only the Parliament, which is seeing heated debates on terror. The play staged by the students also talked about the many faces of terror. And after the play we heard quite a few students discussing 26/11 in great detail. Surely, it���s a generation concerned about the country.
